Dear Friends,
Cliche as it may sound, “thankfulness” is the word that comes to mind today.
[Skip the gushing and take me to the dealz:]
Last week at a Friendsgiving, my friend prompted us to compose haiku (5/7/5 syllables) for the occasion. Here's a modified version of mine, dedicated to you!
At this time last year No Creative Camps Now my heart is full
(I also got engaged this year, so granted, Tim is a big part of my good mood).
Why not challenge your people to prepare a haiku for around the dinner table tomorrow? If you do, feel free to share them in the comments - would love to read!
Thank you so much for being part of this new community. Thank you for responding to our camp theme survey (Landscape Painting Intensive and Folk Arts Camp are currently duking it out for top preference!). Thank you for reading and sharing this newsletter.
To show our appreciation and hopefulness for the future of Creative Camps, we're all in on our first Black Friday weekend! Please use code SUBSCRIBER15 to take 15 off your kit order this Friday through Monday. Also, free shipping on orders over $50.
Our craft kits make awesome gifts for kids and adults alike, and each teaches a skill or includes a reusable component that can start a new lifelong interest.
One more announcement, for Raleigh area folks:
We will be doing a pop-up at the Holiday Market on December 7. We'll have our kits to touch and try out in person, and info on next year's summer camps.
Hope to see you there, and meanwhile, happy Thanksgiving!
Sincerely,
Megan & the Creative Camps crew (Emily & Alder)
